Traidy Bugeja-Naidoo
Traidy is a highly experienced Executive Director and a versatile professional with a strong presence in community services. He is a licensed Solicitor in both Australia and South Africa, as well as a Domestic Violence Practitioner. As a proud bisexual man, Traidy approaches his work through an intersectional lens, ensuring that diversity, equity, and inclusion are embedded across sectors.
Traidy’s leadership style is characterized by his ability to balance daily operations with long-term strategic planning, driving cultural and relational rejuvenation. He is dedicated to providing exceptional stakeholder experiences, actively engaging with staff, and fostering a collaborative, trust-driven culture focused on continuous improvement. His work is centered on supporting vulnerable communities, strengthening capacity building, and advocating for an equity-focused mindset.
With his LGBTQ+ and CALD background, Traidy intentionally creates spaces of belonging and inclusion, ensuring that all voices are heard and valued. Often described as a “dream cultivator” and an ambassador of compassion and grace, Traidy is also the founder of Chosen Family. He is recognized as a spiritual leader with a deep commitment to social justice and a connoisseur of meaningful community experiences.
